Exploring Arkansas from Above
Recently, Ozark Drones had the opportunity to contribute additional aerial cinematography to the Arkansas PBS television special “Exploring Arkansas from Above”. The additional cinematography Ozark Drones provided featured several aerial shots of the Ozark Mountain locations surrounding Jasper, Arkansas.
”Exploring Arkansas from Above” is hosted by Chuck Dovish and directed by Terrell Case. You can watch the entire 1-hour long special on the Arkansas PBS YouTube Channel. It features 35 different locations in Arkansas, spanning across the entire state. Nearly half of the scenic locations featured are in the Ozark Mountains.
The opening shot from the TV special features the scenic view from Black Raspberry Campsite, which is located a few miles south of Jasper. The view features an ocean of fog that sometimes fills up the entire valley around Jasper.
Several other shots featured were filmed around Round Top Mountain, which is just south of Jasper on HYW 7. Round Top Mountain features several hiking trails and beautiful views from the north and south lookout points.
